We have written, produced and distributed 21 individual television documentaries in addition to 32 half-hour programs in the Australian Biography Series produced under contract for Film Australia. All productions were produced and directed by Frank Heimans. They were filmed in Australia and on location in 23 other countries and they have won 21 Australian and international awards from prestigious film and video festivals. Our productions have been screened on broadcast television and Cable-TV in 33 countries, including ABC, Seven and Ten networks in Australia, BBC, Channel Four (UK), PBS (Public Broadcasting Service, USA), National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, NHK (Japan) and ARD (Germany).

The subject matter of our documentaries has ranged from the arts, in Australia Dances and Desiderius and Friends to World War II in Class of '39, Where Death Wears a Smile, The Sword and the Flower and Paradise Camp. Programs dealing with social issues were explored in The Battle for Sydney Harbour and In Moral Panic. Environmental concerns were tackled in Pacific: Pacific and What Have You Done With My Country? Bizarre mysticism was revealed in the feature-length The Occult Experience. Among other productions are The Eleven Powers [written by Bryce Courtenay and narrated by Orson Welles] and Margaret Mead and Samoa which explores the scientific controversy surrounding the famous anthropologist's field work in the Pacific. The film caused a stir in academia in the US after its screening and its story was taken up as the subject of David Williamson's play Heretic.
